How Long Have You Played Disc Golf?

I started playing in college early 2005. My first sanctioned event was in late 2005 and have been playing competitively every since.

Most Memorable Win?

2007 23rd Annual Mid America Open B-tier (as an advanced player). I shot a really hot first round and would have been sitting in second place in the Open field. I was strokes ahead of second place and never looked back.

My Most Memorable Event:

Any event at the Ozark Mountain courses in Vichy,MO. The courses are sick and the experience is one that everyone should have. These courses will break you down mentally and physically.

My Favorite Course(s)?

Camden 2 (this course makes me a better player every time I play it), West Lake, Ozark Mountain, Franklin (Belle Plaine), Ewing, Indian Hills Community College, and J&B Rolling Hills

My Disc Golf Goals?

My current goals are to become a 980+ rated player and gain mental toughness. The difference between those that cash and those that do not is the mental game. I would also like to earn an invitation to the USGDC within the next 2 years.

Advice For Other Disc Golfers?

Keep an open mind to everything. Learn from others, but do not imitate them. The key is to play your game and only your game. I try not to pay attention to what others are throwing off the pad. Find makes and models that you are comfortable with and focus on those. Some of the best pros only throw a handfull of molds, just different stages (beat, stable, new). A great player is not determined by a good shot, it is how they react to a bad one that determines the outcome. GO BIG OR GO HOME!

Anything Else?

Support local disc golf. People like Chase and Jess at the Iron Lion do more for the game and local scene then most people do in a lifetime. Karma comes full circle, leave the course cleaner than when you got there.

"In The Bag"
PDGA# 28011
All Gateway
Putters:
5 wizards (mediums and glows)
Midrange:
2 E orange elements (greatest disc ever made)
1 E blaze (most trust worthy disc in the bag)
1 S demon (utility disc, must hyzers)

Drivers:
2 E baby blue illusions (one beat, one beefy)
2 E assassins (one really beat, one stable)
1 E spirit (headwind driver, flick shots, hyzers)

I try to keep my bag light, too many players carry lots of discs they never use.
